10+ Heroes From The Las Vegas Shooting

Look for the helpers.

The recent mass shooting in Las Vegas has left the country reeling and, frankly, divided in how to respond to the tragedy. One thing that we can all agree on is that whenever these tragedies occur, there are heroes who emerge to do the right thing in the face of terror.

It's common in times like these to not know what to do. There's a Fred Rogers quote that often circulates in the wake of mass shootings:

When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping. To this day, especially in times of disaster, I remember my mother’s words, and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers — so many caring people in this world.

So that's what we're looking to do.
