5. Wonder Woman came out of the closet.
This news comes out of an interview with Greg Rucka done by Comicosity. Rucka, the writer for the latest series of Wonder Woman comics, has gone out and said that Diana Prince a.k.a. While it's unclear whether this will have an impact on the 2017 Wonder Woman movie, it's nice to see such an iconic character become part of a small but steadily growing cast of gay comic characters.
6. Elon Musk is sending people who aren't Matt Damon to Mars.
20th Century Fox
SpaceX, a space transport company created by Tesla founder and possible human-cologne hybrid Elon Musk, has announced plans to colonize Mars in the next 20 years. For a modest $200,000, you too can set up shop on the red planet. Just watch out for locals.

7. The Overwatch Open was broadcast live on TBS.
The grand final match pitted Europe's team Misfits against North America's EnVyUs, with the former taking home the grand prize of $100,000. The interviewer quickly shot back on Twitter, as seen above (click here if it doesn't load).
8. The Super Mario Bros. speed running record was nearly beaten by 1 frame.
In the video game speedrunning circuit, you have to adapt and innovate in order to keep up. Speedrunner Kosmic initially thought he was 1 in-game frame ahead of the previous holder, Darbian. 9. Adventure Time is ending after its 9th season.
While fans of the show don't have to worry about this terrible until 2018, it's still sad to see the wonderfully zany show come to an end. The 8th season is set to start in the late 2016, so savor it while it lasts.
10. Ben Affleck revealed the villain for his standalone Batman movie.
Warner Bros. Games
The still-unnamed movie starring Batfleck will have Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, as its antagonist. Deathstroke is a genetically enhanced superhuman with improved strength, reflexes, genius intellect, and a healing factor.
